In this role my main contribution is within the payment service team working on integration between 3rd party payment providers with the core Bede Platform. The technology stack in this role is mainly .NET backend server applications running on Azure cloud services integrating with MSSQL.

In this role I was primarily involved with full stack .NET development as part of a scrum team. This role provided me the opportunity to learn a great deal of new technologies and allowed me to constantly expand my skills as a developer in a commercial environment. During my initial training for this role I was successful in becoming a Scrum Certified Developer from the Scrum Alliance organization.

The Test People, Test Analyst

In this role I worked primarily in performance testing in an agile environment. This work involved numerous technical challenges that needed to be solved in a tool agnostic way to suit the client, that often meant learning new emerging technologies to handle the situation as best as possible. As part of the training in this role I was successful in obtaining my ISTQB Foundation Level qualification.

I studied Games Programming at Northumbria University, achieving a 2.1 degree. I also acted as the course representative for my course which involved meeting with faculty staff and providing feedback from my class.

I attended Gateshead College studying a BTEC Level 3 in IT Applications; I achieved a full distinction at the end of the course earning 360 UCAS points. During college I also attended numerous student-staff meetings discussing various aspects of the course, relaying feedback from my fellow class members.
